I am a New York City based transdisciplinary product designer and transmedia marketing visual storyteller.

I was born on the bayou, and named after Erroll Garner's jazz Standard popularized by Johnny Mathis in a cover version used in the 1971 psychological thriller (and Clint Eastwood's directorial debut) "Play Misty for Me."

I have over 20 years experience designing for web, social media, and music marketing. I have designed and launched responsive websites, created cohesive brand-identity content for ad campaigns, as well as designed systems for interactive mobile apps, games, and enterprise software.

I am interested in the space where cognitive and behavioral psychology overlaps with communication especially in regards to visual design, aesthetics, and taste. So context and meaning is something I strive to put into everything I create.

In my limited "spare time" I can be found practicing my guitar technique, dying my hair, songwriting, doodling, working the merch table for a show, playing fetch with my cats, and/or taking an online professional development course.

    "Most Creative Designer"

  1. I was born on the bayou and named after Erroll Garner's jazz Standard covered by Johnny Mathis in Clint Eastwood's "Play Misty for Me." Music and media is a defining part of me.
  2. Always a passionate learner, I dived into creative arts by making-up stories in large 5-subject notebooks. I applied my design skills in editorial layout design for my school newspaper, yearbook, and DIY cut-and-paste 'zines.
  3. I started merging my love for the creative visual and aural arts with my interests in technology design, brand-identity marketing, and media, behavioral and cognitive psychology.
  4. At this point, I'm a mix of urban swagger and midwestern panache. I am Just Another Folk Singer (and I'm perfectly fine with whatever that means). Some
