I didn’t want to place the guitar on the flatbed scanner for risk of scratching, so I decided to try Adobe Capture on my iPhone. This method allowed me to adjust the threshold and capture the image in a vector format. Then, I imported the generations into Adobe Illustrator. I didn’t really care for one version more than another, but I enjoyed the way the artboard looked comparatively next to one another as a sort of triptych. So I cleaned up a few edges, added a few simple shapes and exported.
