Guitar image study no. 10: continuous “chalk” line

Process Notes

aka a study in frustration

Drawing one continuous line is more difficult than one would think. I remember not really enjoying the process when we did them in art class. Nevertheless, I gave it a good old-fashioned go, and working on the iPad made it slightly more bearable. Admittedly, it was a study in patience. The one thing I really liked was as I was practicing to complete the form with a fluid gesture, I started noting that the sound hole and pick board strokes created a lower-case letter”g”. This one I tried with a number of brushes in Procreate, and in Photoshop as well.
